The national philanthropy of Zeta Tau Alpha is breast cancer awareness. Each year Zeta Tau Alpha collegians and alumni throughout United States participate in area events to promote breast cancer awareness. In Fort Worth, Zeta supports the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Tarrant County through participation and help in staging the annual "Race for the Cure." In addition, ZTA presents an annual pink ribbon luncheon which celebrates the group's success with the race and further promotes breast cancer awareness in the North Texas community.

We are pleased to raise funds in support of the Komen Foundation which conducts major research in the fight against breast cancer and for the Patsy Ellis Roach Memorial Scholarship. The fund was established to honor a breast cancer survivor whose valiant battle was cut short by an act of violence.
